Physics Education Workshop

The Kentucky Association of Physics Teachers is pleased to sponsor a free half-day interactive workshop for teachers of physics and physical science Nov 5 form 9:00 a.m. to noon in conjunction with KAS Annual Meeting. Tour the Hancock Biological Station on Kentucky Lake

2011 KAS Annual Meeting attendees are invited to tour the Hancock Biological Station (HBS) on Kentucky Lake. HBS is a year-round facility providing scientists with a base of operation for a wide variety of field research and presenting students with opportunities for field-oriented classes, individualized instruction, independent research, and close interactions with researchers and faculty. Complimentary tours will be offered on November 5 (Saturday) at 9:30-11:30AM and 2:00-4:00 PM. HBS vans will transport participants; it is an approximate twenty minute drive each way. Please contact Gerry Harris if you would like sign up for a tour. Space is limited
